It is also the fastest zone on the island. In the city we can frequently be with you within a couple of hours of your message, and same-day requests in the evening are normal rather than exceptional. If you have just landed and your back is a mess from the flight, this is the one place where asking today usually works.
City hotels are generally straightforward about in-room treatments. The larger properties on the Paseo Marítimo and around Plaça d'Espanya are used to it. Boutique hotels in the old town sometimes have small rooms, so tell us which one and we will say honestly whether there is space for a table.
